April 25^th 2011, -- on the auspicious occasion of the 22^nd birth anniversary of His Holiness the 11^th Panchen Lama, Jetsun Tenzin Gedhun Yeshi Trinley Phuntsok Pal Sangpo, we at Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, on behalf of the Tibetan people in Tibet and in exile, with great reverence extend innumerous good wishes to Him.

His Eminence Gaden Tripa, Kyabjhe Rizong Se Rinpoche was given warm welcome by acting abbot of the Tashi Lhunpo monastery  Kachen Lobsang Sherab la and the entire monks of the monastery  at 11.00 am on 14^th December 2010 at Tashi

Tashi Lhunpo monastery in exile was shocked to know about the dismissal of one of the most important senior member of the Panchen Lama Search committee in Tibet. According to the reliable sources he passed away at Luding in Shigatse on 13th November.

Tashi Lhunpo Monastery has began the construction of new temple work on 13th Nov 2010. Acting abbot of the monastery kachen Lobsang Sherab la ans all the senior monks of the monastery

Today on 2nd Nov. 2010 with advice from the department of religion and culture CTA, the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery has performed a special ritual of burning torma cake to remove all the obstacles of sentient being this prayer is being headed by acting abbot Kachen Lobsang Sherab la.

17/10/2010: For the Gelukpa University examination held in August 2010, the result was announced on 15th Oct. 2010 and from our monastery there were totally 13 students who gave the University exam. The result was good with 11 students who passed the exam and 2 students who failed in the exam. The administration office of the monastery congratulates the students on passing the University exam and appreciates their dedication and hard work towards their studies.
