The present clinic in Tashi Lhunpo Monastery was established in early nineties with the help of two senior monks from the monastery who raised funds in Taiwan. Out of the funds received, it was possible to construct the existing small building, as well as provide some support to cover the medical expanses for the monks and local people in the surrounding area. We believe that to offer free treatment to all who need it is vitally important, but the original funds are now exhausted.
